The Junior Primary of Thomas More College is looking for a self-motivated graduate to join us as a Teacher Intern from 1 February 2023. This position provides valuable teaching experience and mentoring for aspiring educators.

Duties:

- Co-teach in a Foundation Phase Classroom (Grade 1-3)

- Assist with classroom preparation, admin, and filing

- Provide academic and personal assistance to children

- Involvement in sporting, cultural, and social activities

- Attend in-house training and development opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

- Final year B.Ed. / PGCE student graduating at the end of 2022

- Adherence to the Christian Ethos of the School

- Confident in Foundation Phase curriculum content

- Good interpersonal skills and team player

- Proficient in English with good communication skills

- Able to incorporate technology into teaching and administrative practice

- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite

- Flexible and creative problem solver

- Patience with young children

- Eager to learn, grow, and gain teaching experience
